Several years ago I found myself in accidental career retirement (what the what!?!) I had been building brand identities and marketing campaigns for over 25 years. I had worked in creative agencies as well as corporate in-house and immensely enjoyed the process. I had outgrown both, but I didn’t feel done working… Yes, I needed the income for my family, but I also wanted to continue to use my skills and talents to help others grow. 

Well, on the cusp of my family vacation to Italy I suddenly got laid off and my income turned to dust. It was “that time” – time to reinvent myself, go out on my own and shine in a new way. My phoenix change moment had arrived – when life burns down midlife, nothing you tried before works now, yet you make the powerful choice to rebuild yourself beyond the ashes. 

I not only survived it, but converted my corporate branding skills into helping women in this exact situation and am thriving because of it. I lean on my expertise in the art and science of identity reinvention to narrow in on what makes us women over 50 unique and valuable – the soulful seed behind all true marketing and branding.
